About Us

Isaiah 58:10-11  And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness,  and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always;  he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land  and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

My name is Kameron and I am in love with my Creator. I am also a stay at home mom to 5 children ages 3-17,  a wife of 16 years to an incredible, loving and patient husband, Jason, and the co-founder and Executive Director of a charitable organization called Delivering Hope International (Orphan Prevention is Orphan Care).

I started this blog as a way to share our adoption process of both Sarah and Markon (both from Ethiopia), and now I add to it here and there when I have time and feel inspired (which rarely happens at the same time;)

After being to Ethiopia, we are forever changed and our hearts deeply ache for the needy, orphans, widows and poor.

Once our eyes are opened we cannot pretend we do not know what to do. God,
who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls knows we know and holds us
responsible to act.
Proverbs 24:12

Adopting one child will not change the world; but for that child the world will change.” Author Unknown
