Every once in a while it strikes me… Mark and Sarah really are living miracles. Not just the miracle of adoption and how God provided in amazing ways. But the  miracle that they lived. That they survived and are here with us, a family. I won’t detail their stories here, but when I recall their beginnings or watch videos like this, I am reminded of the precious gifts of our Ethiopian children, and the sad, unjust reality of how they entered life and what their birth moms endured. I don’t even know where to start. I already feel like my words will fail to adequately present the miraculous hand of God in this story, which is probably why it has taken me so long to write one single word about it.
